"Distinguished guests, esteemed faculty, dear colleagues, and our future leaders,"

It is my great honor and privilege, as President of the Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons, to warmly welcome all of you to the 4th ACNS World Young Neurosurgeons' Congress, to be held in the vibrant city of Hong Kong, China, from 30th October to 1st November 2026.

I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to our Congress President, Prof. Calvin Mak, and Congress Chairman, Dr. Ben Ng, for their dedication and outstanding efforts in organising this remarkable event.

This congress is specially designed with a clear mission: to nurture, empower, and inspire our Young Neurosurgeons. At ACNS, we firmly believe that encouraging and educating young neurosurgeons is our utmost priority, and this congress reflects that commitment.

The scientific programme has been thoughtfully structured to provide a comprehensive and hands-on learning journey. Day 1 will feature intensive workshops utilising high-fidelity simulation models. Days 2 and 3 will focus on conferences and interactive sessions, including "Learn from the Masters โ€” How I Do It" and round-table innovation discussions. Participants will also have the unique opportunity to witness awake craniotomy live surgery, as well as hands-on workshops on cerebral bypass and endoscopy.

This congress is more than just an academic gathering. It is a platform for collaboration, mentorship, and the building of lifelong professional relationships. I warmly invite all of you to join us in Hong Kong for three days of intensive learning, meaningful collaboration, and inspiring exchanges. Together, let us shape the future of neurosurgery.
